About My Services
I work with small groups and individuals in a low-stress environment to learn together about cultivating health. My approach is holistic—together, we integrate your inner and outer health, looking at what nourishes you from all aspects.
Consultations
In theses sessions, we’ll debunk the myths around what is considered “healthy,” and instead examine your beliefs and attitudes around what you think being healthy actually means for you as a unique individual. Together, we examine how your thoughts and feelings are subtly affecting and influencing the direction of your health, and envision where and how you can work on nourishing yourself. We will also explore intuitive eating, learning how to develop and trust ones intuition around ones health. Along with this mind-body examination, I will give you concrete cooking tools and technique (including menus, recipes, and hard skills) so you can carry on our work outside of the session.
Classes
Having worked for decades in accredited schools with large classes, I find students prefer and thrive by working in small groups, as it provides a sense of community and enjoyment that is just as essential for cultivating health as what we consume is. My classes are an intimate, hands-on learning experience, and I welcome all levels of expertise, as the journey of health is ongoing and always changing. In these classes, we will examine how thoughts and feelings are subtly affecting and influencing the direction of our health. We will look at how our thoughts shape the foods we eat, what the quality of ingredients means, how to engage in “seasonal eating,” and how to navigate the overwhelming and often contradictory information in the media around health and wellness. Of course, we will learn how to physically cut, prep, cook and sample yummy foods!
